  • 0.75 cup cottage cheese
  • 0.25 cup marinara sauce thick, low-sugar preferred
  • 0.25 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Toppings

  • 0.25 cup diced bell peppers optional
  • 0.25 cup black olives optional, sliced
  • 0.25 cup cooked ground meat beef or turkey, optional

Instructions
 

  • Scoop the cottage cheese into a microwave-safe or oven-safe ramekin and smooth it into an even layer.
  • Spoon marinara sauce over the cottage cheese, then sprinkle mozzarella evenly on top. Add your favorite toppings.
  • Microwave on high for 90 seconds to 2 minutes until the cheese is melted and the sauce is hot. Alternatively, bake in a preheated 200°C (400°F) oven for 10 minutes, then broil for 1 minute for a crisp finish.
  • Remove carefully and enjoy immediately with a spoon while hot and gooey.
